Not quite the all-Egyptian show we were expecting

Prominent Egyptian superstar Amr Diab has nominated Lebanese television announcer Razan Moughrabi to host his new television entertainment program “Al Awal” (The First). The show will be aired live every Friday on the second local Egyptian channel.

Razan’s nomination came after Egyptian actress Zeina declined her nomination despite the fact that she was very interested in presenting the show with Amr. Zeina had clarified that her preoccupation with actor Ahmad Izz and director Amro Arafa in filming the scenes for the film “Al Shabah” (The Ghost) was the reason behind her turning down the opportunity of hosting the show.

Zeina stated that she is very disappointed that she won’t be working alongside Diab, but hopes that other opportunities will surface and she would work with Diab.
