Megabowl At Zabeel Park To Host Arab Singing Sensation On Feb 1

Amr Diab, the Arabic singing sensation, is all set to take Dubai by storm for yet another scintillating performance when he takes the stage at the Megabowl in Area A at Dubai’s Zabeel Park, on February 1. The concert is one among many lined up during the Dubai Shopping Festival 2008.

Following the tremendous success of last year’s concert, the singer’s fans will have the chance once more to hear him live in the first ever concert to take place at the brand new venue in Zabeel Park. Patrons can also expect a host of surprises from a state-of-the-art sound and light system to a passionate performance by the famed artist.

Suhaila Gobash, DSF Events Manager said, “Amr Diab has a huge fan base in Dubai and after the success of his concert last year, we thought it was only natural to organize another show this year. DSF 2008 will see some of the biggest musicians perform in Dubai.”

Amr Diab’s latest album, released in July 2007, has taken off hugely in the region and the singer is elated over his upcoming performance in Dubai. “Dubai is one of my favorite cities in the world. I enjoy coming here to perform or just with my family on holiday. It’s a city where there is always something new to discover – always full of surprise experiences. And I promise my fans that this year’s concert in Dubai will be, as always, unique and full of surprises,” said the singer.

Amr Diab’s loyal fan base extends world wide with fans flying in from the United States, French Reunion Islands, Germany, Iran and many more to attend last year’s concert. Tickets are priced at AED125 for regular standing and AED 225 for front of stage standing.

Parking is abundant around the park and access to the venue is through gates 1 and 3. Ticket price includes park entrance fees. Doors open at 6:00pm with Amr Diab set to be on stage at 9:00pm.
