Hosni rivalry

Tamer Hosni recently stated that he has been offered an 80 million pound fee for signing onto a starring role in what would be his first TV series -- to be aired next Ramadan.

Interestingly, it was just a few days ago that Amr Diab announced that he would receive 40 million pounds for starring in a TV series -- also to be aired next Ramadan.

Truths? rumours? or simply Hosni pushing back in his ongoing rivalry with Diab? Were Tamer to actually receive the stated fee he would be commanding the highest wage in the history of Arab drama.
