AUC Concert 2012

Egyptian star Amr Diab has finally decided to get back to work where his first announcement came in a tweet where he said that he has started preparing for his new album.

We were able to find out that Amr will be collaborating again with Ayman Bahjat Qamar, Adel Haqqi and Amro Mostafa, but the bigger news is his trip to Dubai where he will meet several poets and composers to choose a couple of Khaleeji songs to add to the album, in addition to a concert there in June.

That being said, the singer’s annual stop at the AUC in Cairo for the past 15 years will be no different this year, where he will start rehearsals for the concert early May (7th,8th and 9th with his band), until he meets his fans on the 11th.

This will be Amr’s first concert after the isolation he put himself into and the mourning state he was in for 3 consecutive weeks following his mother’s death.
