Truth or Rumour

Heard today that Amr Diab won a Big Apple Award but politely refused it, stating conflict of interest due to Israeli nominees. Truth or rumour??

Awards will be held on November 14th at the Manhattan Center, 311 West 34th Street, New York, NY
